We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pathologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for examining laboratory specimens, diagnosing diseases through pathological investigations, interpreting laboratory results, and collaborating with physicians to provide accurate diagnoses and effective patient care. The candidate should have strong analytical skills and expertise in clinical and laboratory pathology.
Key Responsibilities
Examine blood, urine, tissue, body fluids, and other laboratory specimens for accurate diagnosis.
Interpret laboratory findings and prepare detailed pathology reports.
Perform and supervise histopathology, cytology, hematology, clinical pathology, and microbiology investigations where applicable.
Analyze biopsy and surgical specimens to identify diseases and abnormalities.
Maintain high standards of laboratory quality assurance and quality control.
Ensure compliance with NABL, CAP, and applicable healthcare quality standards.
Collaborate with physicians and specialists to discuss diagnostic findings and treatment recommendations.
Supervise laboratory staff, technicians, and quality processes.
Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of laboratory samples.
Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and continuous medical education.
Stay updated with advances in pathology, laboratory medicine, and diagnostic technologies.
4–10+ Years (Experienced candidates preferred. Fresh postgraduates with relevant qualifications may also apply.)
MBBS from a recognized institution.
MD/DNB in Pathology is mandatory.Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or respective State Medical Council.
Fellowship or additional certification in specialized pathology will be an added advantage.
₹40,000 – ₹80,000 + per month (Based on experience, qualifications, and organization)
